Jervis Bay Marathon - Part of the Unique Long Course Weekend
Be part of Long Course Weekend in Jervis Bay this November and join us for the Jervis Bay Marathon on Sunday November 17th. Whilst this event sits within a three day triathlon, we invite swimmers, cyclists, triathletes and runners to compete together in the Friday, Saturday & Sunday events. Invite friends and training partners, bring along club members and support each other across multiple disciplines! The Jervis Bay Marathon is the culmination of three days of endurance racing at Long Course Weekend Jervis Bay and treats participants to a flat, picturesque course that doesn’t stray from the coast line. Runners are in for a treat as they pass by creeks and beaches – with plenty of shade cover from the leafy surrounds, get ready for some PB’s! The event offers Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km options so there is something for all the family in the Endurance Paradise of Jervis Bay! Starting and finishing at White Sands Park, Huskisson all courses hug the coastline of Jervis Bay. By participating in the Jervis Bay Marathon Festival, everyone will receive a medal along with a Long Course Weekend trucker cap to wear with pride following the event.

The Jervis Bay Marathon is set to be one of New South Wales’ biggest marathon events. With amazing scenery and plenty of sunshine, Jervis Bay is a great place to escape the winter blues and the perfect way to end your season of racing. This fun inclusive format is ideal for clubs, training groups and families to come along and enjoy the benefits of training and racing together.

Coastal, marine and hinterland National Parks offer fantastic bushwalking, cycling tracks, Indigenous culture, camping spots, cliff-top lookouts and maritime heritage.
Teeming with native Australian wildlife, our resident dolphins play in the bay all year round. See kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats, and many rare bird & animal species in the wild.
One of the best places in Australia to witness whales on their annual migrations, humpbacks and southern right whales can be seen both offshore and inside the calmer waters of the bay from June through to November.
The many bay and ocean beaches, lagoons, secret coves and hidden creeks are perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing, standup paddle boarding and surfing.
Unspoiled coastal and country villages have local produce markets, boutique shops, art galleries and a terrific museum. The area boasts world-class cafes, restaurants, pubs, wine bars and a burgeoning music scene.
Jervis Bay is central to all the South Coast has to offer: Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Ulladulla all the same distance away and we are close to all the south coast wineries.

Is it for Me?
The Jervis Bay Marathon Festival is inclusive and welcomes participants of all abilities, our briefings are informative and instructive, and we offer distances to suit all abilities and training needs. The course is flat and shaded, with regular aid stations and contact with marshals and first aid. Please note – Marathon cut off time is 6 hours.

Long Course Weekend is a unique festival of sport that offers an unbeatable atmosphere. Over three days athletes can choose events from three disciplines (swim, bike, run) and multiple distances to create a tailor-made weekend course for their ability or training needs. We are delighted to be able to deliver an event that attracts swimmers, cyclists, runners and triathletes together for one weekend. We encourage you to get involved with some other disciplines throughout the weekend, with the choice of a variety of distances on offer each day.
